江苏省苏北人民医院体外受精-胚胎移植研究开始于1996年夏季，首先在小鼠体外受精上获得成功，在实验室操作了取得了经验。以此为基础．1997年6月开始人卵体外受精一胚胎移植工作。当年1例临床妊娠，为异位妊娠。后经过进一步摸索，先后多例宫内妊娠。自本项研究开始至今共对13例病例15个周期进行了体外受精一胚胎移植，临床妊娠4例门例异位妊娠，3例宫内妊娠）。在中山医科大学附院生殖中心指导下，对宫内妊娠中的1例4胞胎、l例3胞胎进行了孕早期选择性减胎术，现均在继续妊娠中。
