从公民理论的历史发展来看,公民的认同从雅典的城邦,到罗马帝国,再到法国大革命后的转向民族国家,乃至于今天出现了世界公民的情况。公民理论的谱系中也出现了自由主义和福利主义公民观,新右派和左派之争。不管是自由主义或者社会福利主义公民观,都赋予个人一种资本主义社会里的生产者形象。差别仅在于一个是透过个人的行动来追求个人的私利,另一个则是通过国家的给付才能满足个体的私利。两者都忽略了民主对于一个自我组织的法律社群的重要性。
From the perspective of the historical development of the theory of citizenship, citizens’ identities have emerged from the city-state of Athens to the Roman Empire, to the nation-state after the French Revolution, and even today the world citizens have emerged. Citizenship pedigree also appears in the libertarian and the welfareist citizenship, the new right and leftist dispute. Regardless of liberalism or social welfare citizenship, individuals are given an image of the producer in a capitalist society. The only difference is that one pursues individual self-interest through individual actions and the other one is the individual’s self-interest that can be satisfied only through the payment of the state. Both neglect the importance of democracy for a self-organized legal community.
