著名的数学家陈省身说:“了解数学的历史变化是了解数学科学的一个步骤”。数学这门学科有着悠久的历史。数学教育不仅要传授数学知识,还要在教学中了解数学的文化价值。数学发展史就是一部数学的文化史。在初中数学教学中,教师应该有意识的渗透数学文化史,让学生觉得学习数学不仅是为了解题的需要与考试的需要,还应该感受数学的价值。
