海明威短篇小说的叙事艺术——以《在我们的时代里》为例

二十世纪八十年代以来,随着叙事学在国内的蓬勃发展,传统的海明威研究面临新的挑战和机遇。关于海明威的研究,历来都是国内外文学评论家关注的重点;人们大多把视角集中于“迷惘的一代”“硬汉”形象和“冰山理论”等方面,但是对于海明威作品中的叙事艺术关注不多,尤其是其早期短篇小说。《在我们的时代里》是美国著名小说家欧内斯特·海明威青年时期的作品集,也是作者的第一部成名作,其中主要收录了《印第安人营地》《大双心河》《医生夫妇》等15篇短篇小说。本文将立足于叙述和故事两个方面,以《在我们的时代里》为例剖析海明威短篇小说中的叙事艺术。 Since the eighties of the 20th century, with the rapid development of narratology in China, the traditional Hemingway research is facing new challenges and opportunities. Hemingway’s research has always been the focus of domestic and foreign literary critics; most people focus their attention on the “confused generation”, “tough guy” image and “iceberg theory”, etc. However, for Hemingway’s works The narrative art in the book focuses little attention, especially its early short stories. “In Our Time” is a collection of works by the famous American novelist Ernest Hemingway in his youth. He is also the author’s first masterpiece. The book contains “Indian camp”, “Double Hearts River” doctor Couple “and other 15 short stories. This essay will analyze the narrative art in Hemingway ’s short stories based on narration and story, taking ”in our time" as an example.
