南阳是国务院公布的第二批国家历史文化名城,城市历史文化悠久灿烂,现存有较为丰富的文物保护单位、历史建筑、历史街区、古城格局及其相关的山川景观等历史文化遗产。保护规划在宏观、中观、微观三个层次上制定规划措施,系统、全面地保护南阳珍贵的历史文化遗产,以保持和强化城市历史文化特色。 Nanyang is the second batch of national historic and cultural cities announced by the State Council. The city has a long history and culture. There are relatively rich cultural relics protection units, historical buildings, historic districts, ancient city layouts and related historical landscapes. The protection plan will formulate planning measures at the macro, meso, and micro levels to systematically and comprehensively protect Nanyang’s precious historical and cultural heritage to maintain and strengthen the city’s historical and cultural features.
