《普天颂赞》作为中国教会音乐史上规模空前的一部巨著,有诸多特别之处。在《普天颂赞》的各版本序中,均明确提出《普天颂赞》有三个特点:其一,大多数圣歌,都是许多教会大团体所熟悉的;其二,全书包含十分之一以上最好的中文创作圣歌,八分之一中国调子;第三,书末附有颂歌及崇拜乐章,特别有圣餐乐章。[1]除了上述三个重要的特点外,也有时人认为《普天颂赞》内容丰富,选材严格,词藻优美,译文正确,曲调合适。[2]囿于篇幅,本文仅就《普天颂赞》文字和音调中所表现的中国元素略作论述。
Praise of Potentism has many special features as an unprecedented masterpiece in the history of Chinese church music. In all the prefaces to the Praise of the Potenton, it is clearly stated that Praise of the Prado has three characteristics: First, most of the hymns are familiar to many large churches; second, the book contains ten One or more of the best Chinese written hymns, one eighth of the Chinese tune; Third, the end of the book with carols and worship movement, especially the sacramental movement. [1] In addition to the above three important features, sometimes people think that “Putian Praise” is rich in content, strict selection, beautiful words, the translation is correct, tunes. [2] 囿 Due to the length, this article only briefly discusses the Chinese elements in the prose and tone of Putian.
