通过对古代文献的研究，认为中药口父咀、煮散及饮片在制备汤剂中的应用，是在不同的历史时期根据临证需求并与生产力水平制约有关，汤剂预制品的涌现，是汤剂现代发展的一个特点。设想通过先进设备和现代技术的进一步应用，将药材加工成直接制备汤剂的预备品，将会既保持汤剂的传统本色，又根本改变汤剂调剂、制备过程的原始状态。
