2003年以来,宁阳县委、县政府坚持以邓小平理论和“三个代表”重要思想为指导,深入学习贯彻党的十六大和十六届三中全会以及省委工作会议精神,解放思想,干事创业,继往开来,跨越发展,经济建设和各项社会事业取得了新的成就。2003年,全县实现国内生产总值57亿元,同比增长16.8％,其中一、二、三产业增加值分别完成14.03亿元、24.06亿元和18.89亿元,分别增长7.6％、20.5％和15.8％;实现地方财政收入2.39亿元,同比增长20％,完成固定资产投资27.6亿元,同比增长49％;在岗职工平均工资达到7702元,增长8.6％;农民人均纯收入3176元,增长6％。
