新世纪伊始,中国科学院召开2001年度工作会议,部署国家知识创新工程试点全面展开阶段的工作。期间,为在知识创新工作中全面贯彻落实中央经济工作会议与中央农村工作会议精神,召开了农业新闻发布会,中国科学院副院长陈宜瑜介绍了中科院在农业科研方面取得的成就以及下阶段的部署。他说,中国科学院作为世界第一农业大国的最大研究机构,自建院以来,就始终把发展农业科技、服务农业发展,作为全院的首要任务之一,对中国农业发展做出了不可替代的贡献。在我院知识创新启动阶段就首先进行了《农业高新技术规划》,同时配合《国家农业科技发展纲要》制订了《中国科学院农业科技发展规划》,部署了一批研究基地、战略性基础和高技术研究项目,加强了人才队伍和支撑系统建设。我院涉及农业的有46个研究所、80多个优势学科,几乎涵盖了与农业相关的绝大部分领域,而且有许多是由不同领域的交叉和渗透所形

In the start-up phase of knowledge innovation in our hospital, “High-tech Planning for Agriculture” was first carried out. In the meantime, with the “Outline of National Agricultural Science and Technology Development,” the “Development Plan of Agricultural Science and Technology of CAS” was formulated and a batch of research bases, strategic bases and high Technical research projects, strengthening the construction of personnel and support system. There are 46 institutes and 80 preponderant disciplines involved in agriculture in our hospital, covering most of the fields related to agriculture, and many of them are formed by the intersection and infiltration of different fields
