由于应试压力,较长一段时间的英语教学中我们更加注重学生对语法、翻译等方面的学习,学生的英语听说能力、实际运用能力较为薄弱。改革潮流中,大学生听说能力的培养已经成为了英语教学的重要任务之一,这也是当下社会对综合素质较高、实践能力较强的人才需求。听说能力的培养涉及到多个方面,词汇无疑在其中占有重要地位。本文即是从词频效应展开论述,探讨词频效应在大学英语听说教学中的具体应用,希望对教学工作有一定指导、借鉴意义。
Due to the pressure of exams, we pay more attention to students ’grammar, translation and other aspects of English teaching for a long period of time. Students’ ability of listening and speaking English is weak and their practical ability is weak. In the trend of reform, the cultivation of college students’ listening and speaking abilities has become one of the most important tasks in English teaching. This is also the demand of the current society for talents of higher overall quality and practical abilities. I heard that the ability to cultivate involves many aspects, vocabulary undoubtedly occupy an important position. This article begins with the discussion of word frequency effects, and discusses the application of word frequency effects in college English listening and speaking teaching. I hope there is some guidance and reference for teaching work.
