迈克是一位英国诗人,不远万里来到大连。这里有他喜欢的文学创作,有让他感到奇妙的东方文化和生活方式,当然,这里还有他的爱情。这天,《海燕》文学月刊主编、诗人李皓先生邀请我以诗人身份,参加一个旅华英国诗人新诗集首发式和诗歌欣赏会。当我如约来到李皓先生办公室时,除见到大连诗人大路朝天、画家李滨,不期还遇到迈克夫妇。我说我们是见过面的,尔后迈克就给了我一个英国式的见面礼,我们拥抱,拍了拍对方肩背,坐下来喝起普洱。我和迈克的眼缘,始于在凯宾斯基普拉姆啤酒花园搞得一次德国黑啤开桶仪式。英文杂志《今日大连》主编苏米女士热情地把她的同事一一介绍给我,记得当时我和迈克干了一杯黑啤,并热情拥抱。迈克把他的中国妻子苏珊介绍给我,在一群外国人当中,苏珊的文静优雅,更兼东方式的美丽,让作为同胞的我很是引以自豪。后来不久,我便在《海燕》上读到迈克的诗歌《飓风季节》,我隐约品出雪莱和海涅的味道,这让我产生知音感。 Mike is a British poet, traveled to Dalian. Here he has his favorite literary creation, Oriental culture and lifestyle that make him feel wonderful, of course, there is his love here. On this day, Mr. Li Hao, the chief editor of the Literary Monthly of Haiyan, and the poet invited me to join me as a poet in the first episode of poetry collection and poetry appreciation for a British poet from China. When I came to the office as Mr. Li Hao, in addition to seeing the Dalian poet Park Road, painter Li Bin, unexpectedly also met Mike couple. I said we met each other, then Mike gave me a British-style ceremony, we hugged, patted each other’s shoulders, sat down to drink Pu’er. My eyes on Mike started with a German dark beer opening ceremony at Kempinski Plum Beer Garden. Ms. Summe, editor in chief of English magazine Today’s Dalian, introduced her colleague to me enthusiastically. I remember when Mike and I had a dark beer and hugged them warmly. Mike introduced me to his Chinese wife Susan. Among a group of foreigners, Susan’s quiet elegance and east-style beauty made me very proud of being a fellow countryman. Shortly afterward, I read Mike’s “Hurricane Season” in “Swallows,” and I vaguely named Shelley and Heine, which gave me a sense of knowing.
