The critical theory of the Frankfurt School is based on humanism and revolves around the major contradiction between individual and social confrontation. They borrowed from the theory of abuse-abuse in Freud’s psychology, and focused on the social repression of the individual and the loss of individual subjectivity. From the criticisms of totalitarianism in the 1930s to the modern culture The revealing of one-way oppression in industry sharply criticizes the social system and psychological manipulation mechanism that the modern western society compulsively suppresses the individual on the seemingly free face from the perspective of humanism.
