断裂是塔中地区岩溶风化壳裂缝型储层的主要控制因素。且裂缝对于改善碳酸盐岩储层的储集性能、提高储层的连通性作用明显,裂缝预测技术的优选尤为重要。通过探讨地震裂缝预测技术在塔中岩溶风化壳裂缝型储层中的适用性,对比分析其预测效果,得出地震裂缝预测技术的预测结果与该区的钻井资料吻合。曲率分析法预测的无效裂缝较多,相干预测的裂缝方位与断裂走向具有较好的一致性,古应力场分析法主要用于预测断裂、裂缝的发育趋势,叠前AVO梯度法对于大断裂周围的裂缝发育带或者岩溶缝洞体的边缘地带预测效果较好。
