成熟度RG与相对强度RZ、硬化度HG与相对硬度RH、品质系数或质量指数Qi是灰铸铁的三组质量参数,用于评定铁水的孕育效果,评定铸铁性能所达到的质量水平,评定生产者对冶金因素的控制水平和利用程度。该三组参数由德国人最先提出,并做了长期的研究工作;近年来,已引起我国铸造工作者的关注。本文系统地阐明了成熟度RG、相对强度RZ、硬化度HG、相对硬度RH、品质系数Qi的概念、应用、意义、控制范围、影响因素等。本文指出成熟度RG与相对强度RZ的意义相近,但更强调二者不得混淆;也指出硬化度HG与相对硬度RH意义相近,但也更强调二者不得混淆。

It is also pointed out that the relationship between hardenability HG and relative hardness RH is similar, but the two should not be confused.
