歧义是一种复杂的语言现象,同一语言符号的含义模棱两可,可以被说和读者作两种或多种解释,传递两种或多种的意思。歧义就目的性可分为无意歧义和蓄意歧义。无意歧义是语言结构矛盾的自然显露,在某些场合应尽量避免;而蓄意歧义在语言运用中应充分发挥其积极性,在修辞、文学创作和欣赏,在广告艺术中的作用已充分证实了它是语言艺术一个必不可少的客观组成部分。本文从语音、词汇、句法三个层面分析两种不同类型歧义产生原因。
Ambiguity is a complex linguistic phenomenon. The meanings of the same language symbols are ambiguous. Two or more interpretations can be said by the reader and the reader to convey two or more meanings. Ambiguity can be divided into the purpose of unintentional ambiguity and intentional ambiguity. Unintentional ambiguity is a natural manifestation of contradiction between language structures and should be avoided in some occasions. While deliberate ambiguity should give full play to its enthusiasm in the use of language, its role in rhetoric, literary creation and appreciation has been fully confirmed in the art of advertising Is an essential and objective part of language arts. This article analyzes the causes of two different types of ambiguities from the aspects of speech, vocabulary and syntax.
