锻造半钢、锻造白口铁轧辊系国外在六十年代末期试制的新型轧辊。该类材质对冶炼成份有害元素含量等要求严格,锻造成型困难,热处理要求高,在生产技术上有一定难度。 宝钢引进的六机架钢坯连轧机使用三种成份的轧辊。除Ni,Cr稍有差别外,主要是含碳量不同,分别为1.6-1.8%,2.0-2.2%;2.3-2.5%,Ni为0.8-1.2%,r为1.0-1.5%。其中P、S,(u、Pb、Sb、As、Bi、Sn、Zn等九种有害元素总含量要求≤0.15%。“六五”期间攻关任务为完成含碳1.6-1.8%成份的φ500中间试验辊三支,φ800宝钢用辊二支及相应的制造技术。 首先进行实验室基础数据的研究工作。根据试制要求的成份冶炼了不同质量的小钢锭共41支,进行了相变临界点的测定、连续冷却和恒温转变的C-曲线、用扭转法测定了热塑性、高温拉伸试验、小钢锭锻造试验,扩散退火试验及磷、稀土元素对热塑性影响等,取得大量数据掌握了该类材质的基本特性。 在实验室研究的基础上,进行中间产品试验辊的研制,采用精冶炼并炉外喷粉处
