Department of Information (1) on the growth of output value of building materials industry in the current 1-3 quarter of this year (1986): In the first three quarters of this year, the country’s economic development was relatively stable, and industrial production grew steadily. From January to September of this year, the total industrial output value of the country has reached a cumulative total 651.837 billion yuan, an increase of 6.4% over the same period of last year. Among them, the total output value of the national building materials industry during the same period was 30.052 billion yuan, an increase of 12.99% over the same period of last year. The proportion of the country’s total industrial output value rose from 4.2% at the end of 1985 to 4.6%, and only rose by 0.1% per year from 1982 to 1985.
