Iron deficiency anemia in children around the world incidence of 9-70%, clinical observations and experiments show that the incidence of iron deficiency in children with infectious diseases was significantly higher than healthy children. Iron has been shown to be of crucial importance in maintaining the body’s normal function, including the function of lymphocytes, macrophages and neutrophils, as well as humoral immunity, cellular immunity and nonspecific defensive functions. The authors studied the nonspecific defensive function of 98 children aged 5-13 years, including 33 iron deficiency anemia, 26 latent iron deficiency patients and 39 healthy controls. Research projects include saliva and serum lysozyme, serum bactericidal activity, neutrophil phagocytic activity, number of phagocytes phagocytosed, complete
