在水稻杂种优势利用和杂交育种中,合理选配亲本是选育强优组合的重要关键.育种实践表明,在一定范围内,杂交亲本的遗传差异愈大,杂种优势就愈强.那么,怎样来鉴定不同品种(系)之间的遗传差异呢? 这是当前育种工作中的一个重要问题. 本研究的目的,是用多元分析的数学方法,结合遗传学、育种学的基本规律,分别测定籼稻亲本间和粳稻亲本间有关性状(数量性状及质量性状)的空间距离,再根据空间距离的大小对亲本进行分类,从而确定优良的杂交亲本组合,并通过被研究的品种资源的基因库的分析估计,预测育种方向及强优组合的表现型特征.
