北京沃尔德钓鱼公司是一家专业的钓鱼公司。经申请,并经2002年世界钓鱼联盟全体大会批准,北京沃尔德钓鱼公司成为世界钓鱼联盟惟一的中国会员,有资格组建中国钓鱼代表队,参加世界钓鱼联盟组织的淡水钓、海水钓、飞蝇钓、青少年钓、女子钓等各项锦标赛。鉴于中国钓鱼运动的现状,沃尔德公司确定了先组建中国淡水钓鱼代表队,时机成熟再开展其他赛项的原则。 于是,一个设想周全的选拔方案紧锣密鼓地展开了。
