Philip Rose, the famous Jewish writer in the United States, has caused many controversies with absurd and weird ways of writing and sexual psychology analysis and description. But his “American pastoral song”, which he launched at the end of the 20th century, marked a major shift in creative thinking and artistic techniques. His neo-realist style in the book follows the needs of the times and at the same time gives the reader an understanding of the other side of the postmodernist. Through systematic analysis, it is pointed out that this change of Rose is not only due to the interaction of various power and power in social culture, but also the result of his continuous exploration beyond self.
