This article measures the value creation performance of 20 coal listed companies from two aspects: basic value creation ability and value creation growth. The results show that Shenhua Group has significant value creation performance. The analysis of the unique business model is the key to the sustainable development of the company , So as to provide reference for other listed companies in the industry to get rid of the predicament that the coal industry faces now and to enhance their value creation ability.
