受国家教委派遣,有幸于1990年10月至92年4月赴日访问研修。转眼之际,回国已近一年,在日本的生活已象是回味无穷的梦,时时浮现在我的脑海之中……地利人和我所在的东京艺术大学是日本国立艺术院校中最高学府,座落在环境优雅的上野公园内。由于赴日前做了非常具体的联系工作,所以研究专业极为对口,我荣幸地来到了美术学部的艺术学科,跟随东京艺术大学艺术资料馆馆长、东洋美术史专家中野政树教授,进行日本工艺美术史的研究与考察。中野教授是位非常通情达理,和蔼可亲的先生,我的研究工作自始至终得到他的指导与鼓励。他主张让我不要把宝贵的时间花费在撰写论文上。他说:“论文可以回到中国后认真地写,你在日本的时间有限,而日本艺术史又是那样庞
Dispatched by the State Education Commission, it was fortunate to visit Japan for study from October 1990 to April 1992. Professor Nakano is a very sensible and amiable gentleman, and my research work has always been his guidance and encouragement. He argued that I should not spend my precious time writing essays. He said: "The essay can be seriously written after returning to China. Your time in Japan is limited, and the history of Japanese art is so huge.
