Objective: To compare the therapeutic effect of point penetration method of long needle and that of west drug in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis.Methods: The simple and randomized grouping method was used in present study. Results: The effective rate in the acupuncture group was 87.5%, and in the west drug group was 55.6%, the significant difference was found between two groups in the therapeutic effect (P＜0.01). Conclusions: The therapeutic effect of point through point with long needle in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis was better than that of west drug.
