In the teaching content of high school chemistry textbook (three volumes) electrolysis principle, the electrolysis of CuCl 2 solution is taken as an example to extract the concept and essence of electrolysis. When CuCl 2 solution was electrolyzed, Cu and Cl 2 were precipitated on the cathode and anode, respectively, because Cu 2+ in the solution was more electron-rich than H 2+ , and Cl − was more electron-losing than OH - . This is not difficult to understand, but how to understand the “electrolyte solution conductive process, is the solution of the electrolysis process” is not so easy. For this reason, after studying the subject of “electrolysis principle”, I further proposed that “Is the strength of ion or electron loss able to influence electrolysis?” Let students think and pass an experimental teaching class.
