1996年执导首部电影《姐姐》踏上导演生涯。2001年执导电影《今年夏天》获得第58届威尼斯国际电影节女性题材电影奖。2002年凭借《今年夏天》获得第51届柏林国际电影节最佳亚洲影片奖。2005年执导电影《红颜》提名第62届威尼斯国际电影节最佳影片金狮奖,并获得威尼斯国际电影节国际同盟艺术电影奖。
In 1996 directed the first movie “sister” embarked on director career. In 2001 directed the movie “this summer” won the 58th Venice International Film Festival female theme film award. In 2002 by virtue of “this summer” won the 51st Berlin International Film Festival Best Asian Film Awards. In 2005 directed the film “Hongyan” nominated 62th Venice International Film Festival Golden Lion Award for best film, and won the Venice International Film Festival International League Art Film Awards.
