中国花鸟画,经历了从人物山水画中分离出来的过程,终于摆脱从属地位,发展成为一个独立的画种。这是适应人们多样化艺术趣味的需要,也是同历代艺术家的辛勤探索分不开的。徐熙、苏轼、文同、林良、徐青藤、八大、石涛、任伯年、吴昌硕、齐白石、潘天寿……他们以其独特的思想和实践所积累的丰富经验,今天无疑应该借鉴和继承。然而,“笔墨当随时代”。现代艺术家的历史使命,更应在继承前人的基础上,顺应时代潮流,进行新的探索和创造,使传统花鸟画发展成为一种现代艺术。
Chinese flower-and-bird painting has undergone a process of separation from landscape painting, finally getting rid of its subordinate position and developing into an independent painting. This is to meet people’s diverse artistic interests needs, but also with the hard work of ancient artists inseparable. Xu Xi, Su Shi, Wen Tong, Lin Liang, Xu Qing Teng, the Bates, Shi Tao, Ren Boren, Wu Changshuo, Qi Baishi and Pan Tianshou ...... Their rich experience accumulated through their unique thoughts and practices undoubtedly should be borrowed and inherited today. However, “Pen and ink should be on time.” The historical mission of modern artists should, in keeping with their predecessors, conform to the trend of the times and carry out new exploration and creation so as to make the development of traditional flowers and birds become a modern art.
