采用提拉法生长了掺钕硼酸钙氧钇单晶,并测量了其吸收谱。根据其位相匹配曲线和有效非线性系数的计算,选定7个可能具有较大有效非线性系数的方向,加工了用于倍频的样品。经过比较,认为其中最好的倍频方向应为θ=64.5°,φ=35.5°,其d_(eff)为1.6pm/V。以钛宝石激光器为泵浦源的自倍频激光实验,在该方向获得最大绿光输出为19.4mW,转换效率3.7%,激光阈值仅为2mW。利用染料激光器和闪光灯作泵浦源,也实现了这一晶体的自泵浦激光运转。 Nd-doped calcium borate yttrium mono-crystal was grown by Czochralski method and its absorption spectrum was measured. Based on the calculation of the phase matching curve and the effective non-linear coefficient, seven samples that may have larger effective non-linear coefficients were selected and the samples used for frequency doubling were processed. After comparison, it is considered that the best frequency doubling direction should be θ = 64.5 °, φ = 35.5 °, and the d eff (eff) is 1.6 pm / V. Self-doubling laser experiments with a Ti: sapphire laser as pump source showed a maximum green output of 19.4 mW in this direction with a conversion efficiency of 3.7% and a laser threshold of only 2 mW. The use of dye lasers and flash lamps as pump sources also enables the self-pumped laser operation of this crystal.
