Literary space is the social space where literature is produced by social media. It is produced by the text, the author, the reader and the society. At the same time, the text also produces the society. Africa and London in the Golden Notes, Anna’s nightmares and games, and the literary field outside the text constitute the multicultural space of the novel, namely, geographical space, psychological space and capital space. The author of “Golden Notes” Lessing formed a three-dimensional network with texts, readers and society. The interpretation of the literary space is to reveal the social and cultural significance of the work: Lessing’s status discourse and power representations as marginal persons, women and writers. This article mainly analyzes the multicultural space of “Golden Notes” and its cultural metaphors.
