In order to understand the status of hepatitis A virus (HAV) infection in children, we tested anti-HAV in 7088 children without HAV vaccine in Rong County, Guangxi Province. The results are reported as follows. 1 Materials and Methods From November to December 1994, 7088 children from 8 elementary schools and 1 nursery school in peripherals of Rongxian County and rural areas were collected for anti-HAV detection of peripheral blood.
