黄宾虹(1865-1955),原名懋质,又名元吉,后易名质,字朴存,号滨虹,后易为宾虹。原籍安徽歙县,出生于浙江金华。早期从郑珊学山水,从陈崇光学花鸟。1907年后居上海,先从事新闻与美术编辑工作;后转做教育工作,先后任上海各艺术学校的教授。1937年由上海迁居北平,被聘为故宫古物鉴定委员,兼任国画研究院导师及北平艺专教授。1948年返杭州,任国立杭州艺专教授。晚年任中国美术家协会华东分会副主席、中国美术家协会常务理事,被聘为中央民族美术研究所所长。著有《黄山画家源流考》、《虹庐画谈》、《古画微》、《画学编》、《金石书画编》、《画法要旨》等,后人编有《黄宾虹全集》。
Huang Binhong (1865-1955), formerly known as Mao quality, also known as Yuan Kyrgyzstan, after the easy name, simple memory, No. Binhong, after the easy for Binhong. After living in Shanghai in 1907, first engaged in news and art editorial work; later turned to education, has served as a professor of art schools in Shanghai. In 1937 moved from Shanghai to Peking, was hired as the National Palace Museum appraisal member, part-time Institute of Chinese painting instructor and Peking Art Professor. Returning to Hangzhou in 1948, he was appointed professor of Hangzhou Arts College. In his later years, he served as vice chairman of the East China Branch of the Chinese Artists Association, standing director of the Chinese Artists Association, and was hired as the director of the Central Academy for National Arts. Author of “Huangshan painter source test”, “Honglu painting”, “ancient painting micro”, “painting series”, “stone book series”, “painting method” and so on, later generations compiled “The Complete Works of Huang Binhong.”
