诗词是中华民族宝贵的文学艺术,它用凝练的语言,体现了文学的典雅,使语言充满艺术性,因此诗词翻译也就变得尤为艰难。诗词翻译不仅要求译者对原语和译语的高度掌握,还要求通达原诗含义,同时在译语中传达出原诗的内在思想。本文从音美、形美、意美三个方面,对苏轼《江城子》一词的三个英译本进行比较分析,三个译本均忠实于原文,各有千秋且各有差异。同时,本文从文化背景和翻译思想两个方面对产生差异的原因进行分析,从而加深读者的理解,并从中寻求再现原作之美的翻译方式。
Poetry is a valuable literary art of the Chinese nation. With concise language, it embodies the elegance of literature and makes the language full of artistry. Therefore, the translation of poetry becomes even more difficult. Poetry translation not only requires the translator to master the original language and the target language, but also requires the understanding of the original meaning of the original poem, meanwhile translates the intrinsic thought of the original poem in the target language. This article compares and analyzes three English versions of Su Shi ’s “Jiang Cheng Zi” from three aspects: sound and beauty, shape beauty and meaning beauty. The three translations are all faithful to the original text, and they have their own advantages and disadvantages. At the same time, this article analyzes the causes of the differences from two aspects of cultural background and translation thinking, so as to deepen the readers’ understanding and seek the way to translate the beauty of the original works.
