2002年10月27日航班东移,这一天,浦东国际机场日起降航班达288架次,仅东航以及代理的国际(地区)航班和国内航班就达142架次,当天的国际航班77架次,与东移前一天的23班相比,增加2倍多;当天共运输进出港旅客3万人次,运输进出港货物、行李、邮件3582吨,装运旅客出发行李19765件,国际客运航班平均客座率在80％以上,航班正点率达99％。航班东移的成功,与东航上海保障部的幕后服务息息相关。
