一、提高种子纯度的增产作用玉米杂交种生长健壮、整齐、抗逆力强,一般比普通品种增产30％左右。但是,一个优良杂交种达到最大的增产效果是以种子的纯度高、质量好为前提。同一名称的杂交种若种子质量不同,增产效果大不一样。1972年我所征集了不同地区繁殖的武105和武102自交系进行测交试验,分别以纯度高的作测验种,配成不同质量的陕单1号,1973年进行比较试验产量相差很多。不同种子来源的武105配成的7个陕单1号,产量最高的亩产达808.3斤,最低的579.3斤,相差229斤,最高比最低增产39.5％;不同来源的武102配成的5个陕单1号,最高亩产774.2斤,最低649斤,相差125.2斤,最高
