在智能交通工程的光通信系统中,为了提高带宽、功率利用率和信道容量,将多脉冲位置调制(MPPM)应用于LED交通灯与车辆间的可见光通信系统。分析比较了MPPM在几种典型天气条件下系统的接收机信噪比。同时,在同一天气条件下,对分别采用MPPM等多种调制方式的系统接收机信噪比也进行了比较。仿真结果表明:在同一调制方式下,与晴天相比,系统在雾天时信噪比最低,其次是干雪天,雨天和湿雪天信噪比下降得最少,且相差不多;在同一天气下,采用MPPM的系统信噪比高于采用开关键控(OOK)和单脉冲位置调制(PPM)的系统信噪比。对MPPM和OOK进行了试验验证,试验结果与理论仿真相符。
In intelligent traffic engineering optical communication system, multi-pulse position modulation (MPPM) is applied to a visible light communication system between LED traffic lights and vehicles in order to improve bandwidth, power utilization and channel capacity. The MPPS system receiver SNR is analyzed and compared under several typical weather conditions. In the meantime, under the same weather conditions, the signal to noise ratios of system receivers using various modulation schemes such as MPPM respectively are also compared. The simulation results show that the system has the lowest signal-to-noise ratio in the foggy days compared with the sunny days, followed by the dry snow days, and the signal-to-noise ratio in rainy days and wet snow days decreases the least, and in the same weather , The system using MPPM has a higher signal-to-noise ratio than the system SNR using on-off keying (OOK) and single pulse position modulation (PPM). The MPPM and OOK have been verified by experiments. The experimental results are consistent with the theoretical simulation.
