Density flow refers to the differences in ocean currents, salinities and temperatures caused by differences in seawater density in the horizontal direction. These differences in density lead to density flows, of which density flows are most common due to differences in salinity. During the Second World War, the Strait of Gibraltar was blocked by the British, but German submarine can still be more subtle back and forth across the Strait, the principle is to use density flow: turn off the submarine power system to reduce noise and dive 20 meters The surface currents of the Strait entered the Mediterranean Sea. Afterwards, the deep-sea currents returned to the Atlantic Ocean along the deep currents of the Strait. Can such a classic case of using density flow be demonstrated experimentally? After repeated efforts and continuous improvement, we finally can clearly demonstrate the special flow law of density flow.
