This article uses the data of 2010 “Baicun sampling survey” to discuss the impact of the married couple being married to the married couple who live in rural areas during the marriage process on the implementation of marital violence. The study found that violence has become the main way to solve the conflict between husbands and wives by men with difficult marriage experience. The experience of marriage difficulties significantly increases their possibility of enforcing marital violence. The types of violence vary according to the degree of marriage difficulty. Men who experienced less but less severe tended to only practice cold violence, while men who experienced severe marriage difficulties were more likely to practice cold violence and physical violence.
