英语教学在走向以学生问中心的过程中,关注学生怎么学成为发展的方向。教师无法正确的掌握学生的学习风格,教学方法没有突出的个性化特征,学生的学习风格如果与教师的教学风格出现错位,学生会因此产生厌倦情绪,注意力不集中,学习成绩不理想,对学科失去信心甚至于放弃。本文旨在探讨学习风格的研究和实现个性化教学之间的关系,以及教师在英语教学中应如何面对这种学习风格差异,并采取有效的教学策略改变这种不良后果,最大程度的挖掘学习者的学习潜能,做到学习风格与教学风格的有机结合。
