The content of this paper is a dynamic model for transient analysis of asynchronous motors with asymmetrical windings connected, using instantaneous value symmetrical components and computational equivalent circuits. The instantaneous value symmetric component theory has proven to be a very effective tool for studying symmetric winding connections as well as any form of asymmetrical winding connection method. This article discusses several typical real situations and presents its dynamic equations. These models are very convenient for direct mathematical simulations. The equations can be derived from the measurable resistance and reactance parameters of the equivalent circuit.
