《通俗歌曲》一九九○年第七期刊载朱勇同志写的《名歌星有自己特色,嗓音好早已不稀奇》一文,读罢,作为一个音乐工作者,对这一看法,有责任出来啰嗦几句:我认为朱勇的文章所阐述的观点,其所谓“特色”,换句话说,只不过是“成名”而已。至于从音乐的角度来看“歌星”,那些“嗓音不好”而博得“许多人照样欢迎”的这种说法,未免失之偏颇。我认为音乐,作为一种听觉艺术,嗓音是极为重要的,离开了美的嗓音来谈声
