万县市滑坡是个古滑坡,由于长期的滑动,致使大批房屋基础下沉、变形,甚至倒坍,墙柱倾斜断裂,道路严重沉陷,交通一度中断,街道边沟和涵洞破坏和堵塞,部分拱涵沉陷垮塌,严重的影响到人民生命财产及经济建设的安全。通过岩土工程的勘察、设计、施工和整治,并经历了十余年时间的检验,充分的证明了采取排水与力学平衡相结合即排水、减载、护坡、防止冲刷、增加反压以及锚固桩(排、减、护、挡)的方针整治万县市滑坡实效明显,对长江流域滑坡的防治具有现实的意义。
