太赫兹辐射源在太赫兹科学技术中占有重要地位,回旋管是一种高功率太赫兹相干辐射源器件,具有广泛的应用前景.电子科技大学研制出一支0.42THz二次谐波回旋管,并进行了实验测试.实验结果表明在磁场强度8.1T时,该二次谐波回旋管产生了0.423THz的辐射输出,脉冲宽度5?s,功率约为4.4kW.这是目前我国真空电子学器件产生的最高频率的太赫兹辐射输出.
