通过开展玉米螟为害产量损失、抗寒性、玉米种植密度与发生为害关系、田间空间分布和扩散规律、赤眼蜂地理种群等系列研究,确定了大区防控最小有效防控区域为村,防控指导阈值虫量为40头/百秆,以及防控技术综合评价技术和标准。研发了新型杀虫灯及高秆作物喷杆式喷雾机,改进了苏云金杆菌产品。提出了在越冬成虫、卵和未蛀茎前的幼虫阶段设置三道防线的关键防控技术,研究和改进了灯诱和性诱成虫、赤眼蜂灭卵及苏云金杆菌防幼虫等4项主推技术。还开展了大区防控技术模式研究。以尊重农民意愿、成本控制为原则,以控制玉米螟种群数量在防控阈值以下为目标,探讨了适于大区防控的技术模式和推广运行机制。
