近年来,有些书刊介绍棉籽壳不经灭菌生料制种,且方式多样。据笔者试用,这种方法效果不稳定,尤其在气温较高的季节容易污染杂菌,而采用棉籽壳发酵料制平菇栽培种,通过反复试验,其质量与熟料种无异。现将具体方法介绍如下:(一)配料发酵:棉籽壳50公斤,生石灰粉1公斤,50%多菌灵100克,尿素100克,水75公斤左右,拌匀后堆成高0.8米左右的圆锥形,稍拍实,顶部插入一支温度计,覆膜进行发酵。约经48小时,料内温度可达60℃以上,此时进行翻堆,复堆后经36—48小时,料温再次达60℃,棉籽壳呈棕红色,上长有大量白色菌丝,有股香味时,发酵即可结束。
