Local cold compress commonly used in the treatment of soft tissue trauma, cold factor therapy (cold therapy) is considered to have good effect on pain, inflammation and swelling. For acute injury, the main purpose of cold therapy is to reduce intramuscular hemorrhage and subsequently reduce the volume of intramuscular hematoma that may occur. The analgesic effect of cold therapy has been confirmed and the activity of the enzyme on inflammation is also recognized at low temperatures. The results obtained with the study of the effect of ice compress on swelling and intramuscular blood flow were different. Athlete’s soft tissue damage often occurs during exercise. At this time, the temperature of the tissue is increased, and so far, the effect of cold on the blood flow of muscles heated by physical activity has not been tested yet. The purpose of this article is to observe the effect of cold therapy on the flow of large muscle and to compare the subjects’ resting and post-exercise blood flow.
