The air plasma cutting technology promotion conference was held by the Jiangsu Provincial Economic Commission, the Provincial Machinery Department, and the Provincial General Union. He was held at the Qishuyan Locomotive and Rolling Stock Technology Research Institute in Changzhou, Jiangsu Province from June 28 to June 1988. Air plasma cutting uses only compressed air, no oxygen, acetylene gas and the corresponding auxiliary device, can cut steel, iron, aluminum, copper, stainless steel and all other metals. The cost of cutting steel is only about two-thirds that of oxygen-acetylene cutting; when cutting other metals, the cost is also reduced exponentially. Air plasma arc cutting has the advantages of fast cutting speed, smooth cutting edge, and no deformation. The device is compact, easy to move and accommodate
