吴承恩《西游记》是部相当标准的喜剧作品。中国文化与美学“中庸性”与“和合性”都很强,很难产生严格的悲剧和喜剧(请参看《中庸的文化省察——一个字的思想史》,湖北人民出版社,1997年)。《西游记》是难得的例外。喜剧的经典说法是:形式对内容的绝对矛盾。车尔尼雪夫斯基《生活与美学》主要是反对黑格尔和菲希尔的,但是他的《论崇高与滑稽》却没有怎么反驳这个定义。“形象占优势,歪曲了观念,这就叫做滑稽(das Komische)。”这是车氏的转述,其要义仍然是所谓“形式压倒了内容”。天宫是极其伟大庄严神圣的,可是经不起一只猴子
Wu Chengen “Journey to the West” is a fairly standard comedy. Chinese culture and aesthetics are both very strong and hard to produce rigorous tragedies and comedy (see “The Culture of the Mean” - The History of Thought in One Word), Hubei People’s Publishing House ,1997). Journey to the West is a rare exception. The classic theory of comedy is: the form of the absolute contradiction of the content. Chernyshevsky’s “Life and Aesthetics” mainly opposed Hegel and Fisher, but his “lofty and funny” did not refute this definition. “This image is predominant and distorts the concept, which is called das Komische.” “This is the car’s rendition, whose meaning is still the so-called” form overwhelm the content.
