China Datang Corporation(Datang),a power giant in China,and Shaanxi Provincial Government signed an agreement on strategic cooperation in Beijing on March 16th.Both sides will combine the coal resources in Shaanxi province with Datang’s operation experiences in energy and chemical sectors,and con-struct a coal/power/chemical integrated project in North Shaanxi Energy Chemical Base.The coal-methanol-olefin unit will spend RMB 16 billion.
