Jokingly speaking, “drama Qianlong” and “private interview with Kangxi” are increasingly becoming the new favorite of Chinese screen art. Looking at these dramatic egyptian plays from the perspective of narrative aesthetics, we find that they are striking resemblances to Western knights’ legends in the portrayal of characters, the casting of stories, the implication of themes, and the techniques of expression. These resemblances stem from the heroic complex that unite in the depths of people’s souls and originate from the eternal natural laws of human aesthetic values stemming from a common aesthetic expectation and similar aesthetic orientation. Western knights and the Eastern emperor has the same side, in fact, the two have the characteristics of the same-shaped body, from this perspective, the imperial drama popular just as knight literary popular are constraints of many factors.
