吴敬琏撰文指出,中国的改革已经取得了很大的成就,成就的基本标志是以混合所有制为基础的市场经济的轮廓已经显现出来了。在过去的20年里,原来国有经济的一统天下,已有了初步的改变。国有企业产值占工业总产值的比例从1978年开始改革时的78％,下降到去年的33％,非国有经济的份额从22.2％提高到67％。在市场力量的推动下,20年来中国经济飞速发展,人们生活水平普遍提高,这一点已经得到世界的公认。 但是我们也要看到,从转变资源配置方式的角度看,改革的大关并没有过。 Wu Jinglian pointed out in his article that China’s reform has made great achievements.
